While convicting Mohammad Ajmal Kasab of mass murder, criminal conspiracy and waging of war against India among other offences, special judge M L Tahaliyani placed considerable reliance on Kasab’s crucial confession recorded by a magistrate. However, the judge, on Monday, noted that he accepted all that Kasab confessed, but for ‘a small portion of it’.
