Varanasi blast accused gets 10 years’ jail term

A court here Tuesday absolved Waliullah, a prime accused in Varanasi’s Sankatmochan temple serial blasts, of treason but convicted him on charges of illegal possession of weapons and conspiracy, an official said. The sessions court sentenced Waliullah to 10 years of imprisonment with a fine of Rs.100,000, the official added.
